Luxurious holiday house with pool La Palma

Casa El Drago is situated in Tijarafe, in the sunny western part of the island La Palma.
This spacious and luxurious holiday house stands an ample peace of land of 23.000m². Here you will find privacy, space, peace and quiet and a stunning nature. There are walking paths across the extensive grounds.
The view over the Tijarafe area towards the south of the island and down to the Atlantic Ocean is breathtaking.
On a clear day you can see the neighbouring island of El Hierro.


The pool (7x4m)is sheltered. The pool has a spacious sun terrace with tabel and chairs, sunbeds and parasols.

Casa El Drago is an original Canary style house.
This lovely and spacious house has thick walls and some of the roofs and floors were made with tea wood, the hard wood of the Canary pine tree.

The house was renovated and converted into a comfortable home with modern comforts, yet with many of original features.
In summer 2009 the house was renovated again, completely re-furnished and a new kitchen was installed.

Accommodation
Casa El Drago is a spacious house with a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. In the living room are comfortable furniture round the wood burning stove. There is telephone and internet connetction.

In the kitchen you will find a table and chairs.

For preparing and eating your meals there is an excellent selection of kitchen utensils and crockery.

There are an electric hob, oven and
dish washer.

Casa El Drago has 2 bedrooms, each suitable for 2 persons.

The 2 double beds contain two 90x200m matrasses from very good quality.

From the bedroom windows you have views over the Tijarafe area and the Atlantic Ocean.

The bathroom is between the bedrooms.
There is a walk-in shower, wash basin and
a loo with a view...

Casa El Drago has spacious terraces with a stunning view over the Atlantic Aocean and the area and the west coast of La Palma. The terraces offer privacy and you will find garden furniture. One of the terraces is sunny and this is a lovely place for a sunny breakfast and under the 2 large palmtrees on the other terrace you will find shadow. The pool terrace has sunbeds, table and chairs and a parasol. Round the house there are many places to sit, enjoying the peace and quiet and nature.

Casa El Drago has a private drive way which can be closed with a gate.
There is a parking area for your hire car.

Area

Casa El Drago is about 70 minutes drive from the airport.
The Tijarafe area is crisscrossed with marked walking-paths including a route to the viewpoint Torre del Time, where there is a breathtaking view over the west side of the island and the Valle de Aridane.
In the village Tijarafe you'll find a bank, dispensing chemist, medical centre, internet cafe, supermarket and shops, restaurant and bars. There is a Kiosco with terrace where you can enjoy the view, local wine and tapas.
The nearest sandy beaches are in Tazacorte (20 min. drive) and Puerto Naos (30 min. drive) where there are also shops, restaurants and small supermarkets.
Los Llanos is the closest town with it's old streets and squares, shops and supermarkets, and the popular meeting place Plaza de España, and is about 30 minutes drive.
Restaurants can be found on the main road, Tazacorte, Los Llanos and Puntagorda.
On Saturdays and Sundays there is a farmers market in the Mercadillo in Puntagorda.
